The Wishful Bloom
Under the shadow of the Boathouse walls, Where the Tâf meets the salt and the heron calls
There stands a sanctuary, bright and still,
Against the green of this Laugharne hill.
It’s a place where time slows its frantic pace,
To match the calm of a child's embrace.
The Lodge is a vessel, sturdy and wide,
Built to weather the roughest tide
While Dylan spun verses of "light and rage”
Here, small hands turn a different page.
Through the glass, the estuary gleams,
A canvas waiting for Wishes and Dreams.
It isn't just timber, or stone, or a roof,
It’s living, breathing, beautiful proof,
That even when the sun goes down,
There is joy to be found in this coastal town.
From the deck where the stars feel within their reach,
To the quiet paths on this ancient beach,
Every laugh that rings through the salty air,
Is a victory won over sorrow with care.
“Do not go gentle” the poet once said,
So we fill these rooms with wonder instead.
For every wish granted, a light is cast,
Creating a memory built to last.
